Fixed to the Cross - Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Galatians 2:20

I know that "God so loved the world, that he gave his Only Begotten Son..." Praise God, there's more! The Son, not only in obedience to his Father, but also out of his love for us, gave himself on the cross! What return can we make for such love? We can return our lives. We no longer live, but allow him to live in us daily. We can let his love and power be ours. Wycliffe translates this, "With Christ I am fixed to the cross." that's permanent!

"Father, thank you so much that you have loved me, and that your Son Jesus, whom you sent, also loved me and gave himself up for me! When selfishness tries to raise its head, let me find myself so fixed to the cross that I cannot lift my hand to sin against you!"
